About Us
Altar Servers have traditionally assisted the priest at all sacramental service’s throughout the daily life of the church. All servers once a probationary time has elapsed are enrolled in the guild of St Stephen who is the Parton Saint of Altar Servers
Altar servers meet daily at Mass when available; however the largest gathering is always for the Sunday Masses, when everybody gathers to fulfil their weekly obligation. We also arrange group excursion to attend altar server gathering within Wales and the UK
The age range starts from once the young person has made their First Holy Communion, usually at age 7, there is no upper age limit.
The current team are led by Master of Ceremonies Mr Rick Hodgkiss.
